How can I
make my small eyes appear
larger? |
|
To accentuate and
open up small eyes, curl
your lashes with a lash
curler, then apply
Bioelements
Mascara in Dark Brown.
The mascara will go on
smoothly without clumping.
Next apply a second coat on
the outer third of the eye.
When using eye shadow colors
remember that light colors
will bring out areas of the
face, dark will recede. You
may wish to use neutral
colors. A soft dusting of a
blush color on the middle
contour of the upper eye lid
brightens up the eye.
Bioelements Blush colors do
not contain comedogenic coal
tar dyes and are safe to use
near the eye area.

My mascara
always clumps, what can I do
to stop this? |
|
The reason mascara
clumps is due more to the
misuse of the product than
the application. Make sure
you do not pump your
Bioelements
Mascara, instead turn
the base to release color
onto the wand. Remove the
wand very slowly pressing
slightly against the sides
of the base. If clumping
still persists, punch the
wand through a tissue. This
is a sure way to remove any
additional clumping and give
you the results you want.

custom-blended to match your
skin tone perfectly and
looks very natural.
Remember, the goal is to
make your skin look
beautiful, not just your
makeup!

How can I
keep my eyeliner in place
during the hot summer
months? |
|
How can I keep my
eyeliner in place during the
hot summer months? Try using
Bioelements
T-Zone Monitor on your
lids before applying makeup
to absorb excess oils. Use
gels under the eyes instead
of any crèmes – crèmes
contain oils that can
break-down makeup throughout
the day. If you’re using
an eye pencil, go over it
with a light dusting of
powdered shadow to help it
stay in place. For a longer
lasting lid color, try
applying you powdered shadow
wet instead of dry. The wet
powder will “cling” to
the lid.

|
How can I
sharpen my lip and eye liner
pencils without breaking
them? |
|
Both eye and lip
pencils are relatively soft
and can break during
sharpening. To avoid this
problem, make sure the
pencils are cool before
inserting them into the
pencil sharpener. How? By
placing them in the
refrigerator for a half-hour
or longer. This will chill
the pencil so it doesn't
break.
|
How
can I keep my lip
color from bleeding? |
|
Lip color
that moves its way
above upper and lower
lip lines can be an
annoying problem. To
keep your lip color in
place be sure to line
your lips with
Bioelements
Natural or Dark
Natural Lip Pencil
and softly fill in
before applying color.
You can also apply a
bit of
Bioelements
Loose Powder on
your lips before
applying color for
added staying power.

I have
horrible dark circles under
my eyes. Nothing seems to
help. What should I do? |
|
The best way to get
rid of under eye circles is
to camouflage them with a
pigment-intense concealer in
a color that neutralizes
their dark blue tone. A
slightly orange, peach shade
works best. The Concealer
should also be a creamy
consistency so it clings to
the skin. To apply, dab on
gently, pat-blend into the
skin (don't rub), blot with
a tissue and set with a
light textured, loose powder
in a neutral or colorless
shade. (try Bioelements Dark
Circle Concealer and set it
with Bioelements Colorless
Powder.)

|
How do I
keep my makeup base from
fading? |
|
Makeup bases
usually fade when you do not
do anything to set it into
the skin. The best defense
against fading is to use
your
Bioelements
Loose Powder over your
makeup base. Touch-Ups can
be made throughout the day
by using your
Bioelements
Touch-Up Powder.
Remember that your makeup
base choice should be one
that is oil-free.
Bioelements
Makeup Base is oil-free,
this will further prevent
fading and separating.

What’s
the best way to define the
brows? |
|
Brows can easily be
defined by using a powder
eye shadow. Select a shade
of shadow that is close to
the color of your own hair
Bioelements
Taupe and Mahogany Eye
Colors
work well with most hair
shades]. When using powder,
apply it with a stiff narrow
brush. Following the
direction of the hairs,
begin to fill in the brows
using light, feathery
strokes. If your goal is to
have a clean brow look
without adding any color,
try using
Bioelements
Transparent Lip Gloss or
Instant
Emollient.

|
Every time I
apply powder over my makeup
base it changes the color
and looks darker - why is
this happening? |
|
You are most likely
using a powder that is a
darker shade than your base
or has a strong orange
undertone. When you select a
powder, try going with a
shade that is lighter than
your base shade. This way
you can add layers of powder
without causing a
“darkening” effect. A
best bet is using
Bioelements Colorless
Powder. It will set your
makeup without adding any
additional pigment over your
base.

Is
eye shadow
still in style? |
|
Eye shadow is still
as popular as ever. It's
just a lot more subtle than
it used to be. The modern
way to wear eye shadow is to
dust a sheer, see-through
wash of color over your
lids. Heavily applied color
is definitely out! Unsure of
which color to wear? You
can't go wrong with a
neutral taupe shade. Just
make sure you can try the
color on before you buy it.
Better yet, seek the advice
of professional makeup
artist? Visit a salon in
your area that carries
Bioelements Makeup Made Easy
and ask their makeup
specialist to help you
select the best colors for
your face.
